Terms of Service

Effective September 19, 2026. By creating or using a Screenmates account, you agree to these terms.

Use of Screenmates

Use Screenmates for lawful personal, household, and community watch-planning activity. Do not attempt to access another person’s account, abuse invitations, evade security controls, scrape private data, disrupt the service, or use Screenmates to harass others.

Your content

You keep ownership of the comments, ratings, profile information, and other content you submit. You give Screenmates permission to store, display, and process that content only as needed to operate the service and share it with the audiences you choose inside Screenmates.

Community rules

Do not post threats, targeted harassment, hateful content, sexual exploitation, illegal content, private information belonging to someone else, spam, or intentionally disruptive material. Members can report Community content. Screenmates administrators may hide or remove content and restrict access when needed to protect the community or service.

Entertainment information

Availability, release information, critic scores, credits, and recommendations may be incomplete or change over time. Screenmates is a planning and discussion tool, not an authoritative entertainment database.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for keeping your password and invitation links private. Screenmates may temporarily limit requests or suspend access to protect accounts, households, or infrastructure from abuse.

Availability

Screenmates is provided as available and may change, experience interruptions, or discontinue features. We work to preserve data and reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Ending your account

You may export your data or delete your account from Account & Settings. Deletion removes your credentials and personal activity and anonymizes the minimum relational record needed to preserve shared data integrity.

Changes

If these terms materially change, Screenmates will update the effective date and provide an appropriate notice in the app.
